Most moms don’t necessarily want to “escape” their kids — they just don’t want to do all the childcare logistics alone all day (cooking, cleaning, packing, driving, constant supervision — that’s the exhausting part).
Most moms choose to “outsource” childcare because they feel less personal progression versus going back to work.

Samantha is an Irvine resident, currently living in the Cypress Village community (north of Spectrum Center), and mama to a 1.5-year-old named Sawyer.
She is a San Francisco native with a background in real estate, finance, and property management. Prior to Orange County, she and her husband, Steven, lived in Playa Vista, Los Angeles. She is a graduate of Columbia University in New York.
Samantha has a passion for holistic living and is a nature enthusiast. She is a Christian and worships at Mariners Church in Irvine.
Samantha is currently a full-time mom and has spent the last couple of years learning, first-hand, how to nurture little ones’ growth — as well as practices to restore mamas back to health through nutrition and physical and spiritual practices. She has a passion for cooking and sharing “practical meals” that are healthy for babies, toddlers, pregnant moms, and postpartum moms alike.
The reason she is starting Mahmi is to create the place of support she wished she had during pregnancy and early motherhood — and to share what she’s learned with other moms in this critical, transitional time of life, while investing in a place of home for her and her son.
